Hi Everyone!

I'd love to hear from anyone who has used or currently teaches young learners via the Helen Doron Method. What do you think of this Method?

Hi Dawn,

I teach lots of kids, took the TYL module, but I've never heard of the "Helen Doron Method". What is it (briefly), and why do you like it?

You can find out more about the Helen Doron Method at her website. I don't use her method per se but I'd like to hear from anyone who does/has done.   It's fairly popular here and quite esteemed.

Hi Dawn,

Thanks for the link to the Helen Doron site. It was pretty interesting. Seems like she has found the magic system for teaching kids and is making a good living at it. Good for her. I'm sorry I can't comment on it, as I haven't used it, but it does seem interesting at first glance, especially the part where the kids have to listen to the language they learn in class at home. Then, once they get in class, they can pick up everything much more easily because they've been listening to it. This also gets the parents involved, which is really important.
